A love for creepy old movies helped Kristine Imboch put together this eerie tale of a frightened young heroine held captive in a sinister mansion, by an unbalanced, grief-stricken woman. Joy Marks plays Janet White, a woman vacationing alone and trying to forget the death of her troubled ex-fiancee. Deciding to visit his family, she is at once taken prisoner by his sister (Darla Crane) and her strangely silent maid (Morgan Phoenix). The sister holds Janet responsible for her brother's suicide and plans to avenge his death by making sure that Janet is never again free to experience a loving relationship. Kept bound and gagged, Janet is barely able to fend off the fury of the insane sister, and the roving hands of the sensual maid. All three actresses give amazing performances. Joy is ideal as the anguished captive, desperate to keep her sanity; Morgan's guileless, sexy maid is both dangerous and doll-like; and Darla is icy perfection as the insane femme fatale.Can Janet manage to escape this house of horrors, or is she destined to live a life of tears?
